Who are we?
Our names are Evelyn Chan, Sharon Kim and Alesha Quach. We have each just graduated from high school and have huge plans for our coming individual gap years.
What's our aim?
We want to open your eyes to some of the issues that are present in our society and are desperately in need of attention and preventative action. We ask that you keep your ears perked and listen to the pleas of the homeless, become aware of the meaning of modern-day slavery and understand how to help young people fighting to stay positive amidst personal struggle.
Why are we doing this?
The Young People Without Borders Program with Lattitude Volunteering has provided us with the opportunity to experience the culture and lifestyle of either India or Vietnam during our gap year 2012! To gain their sponsorship, we are required to complete particular Trailblazer challenges, one of which is to spread awareness about an issue that is important to us.
